All day seminar will feature topics including: Tips for Purchasing a New Horse, Equine Health Care, Horse ID and Theft Prevention, Determining Age of Horses, Equine Dentistry, Saddle Fit and Selecting Bits.

Featured Speaker: Dr. J.D. Norris, Veterinary Services, Sulphur Springs. 9:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Rodeo Queen: 14-18 yrs of age: Rodeo Princess: 10-13 yrs of age. Live within Cooke, Grayson, Montague or Love County.
Judging: Placings will be determined upon by the dollar amount of rodeo ticket sales and the score that you receive from your personal riding compeition. Ticket sales account for 60% and the riding competition 40% of your overall score. The overall top scring individual in each age division will win the title.

 


Saint Jo Rodeo Queen and Princess Contest
August 5 - 7, 2010

Saint Jo, TX

Deadline to enter is June 27, 2010

Queen contest based (25% each) on horsemanship, personality, appearance, ticket sales. Queen receives new horse trailer, tiara, and buckle. First runner up receives $500 scholarhip. Second runner up receives $250 scholarship. Prizes awarded to top competitor in each category. Ages 13-21.

Princess contest based on horsemanship, personality/appearance, and ticket sales. Winner receives trophy saddle, tiara, and buckle. All princess contestants will receive prizes. Ages 12 and under.
